Question Solo hunting spots?

I just started playing GW a little while ago, and I've gotten to level 12 fairly easily as an E/N. My problem is now that I can't find any place to hunt where I don't get swarmed by 8 or more mobs. Is there any place I can go to solo things at this level?

Me too.

I did a ton of farming there.

Used it to level up my necro more recently too.

The mergoyles are mainly hexers, which is about the weakest kind of mob you can encounter in PvE. Just take Fireball, Flare, Fire Attunement, and Aura of Restoration, and the rest of the skill bar doesn't matter.

Well, Glyph of Lesser Energy is always good if you don't need the skill bar room for something better, and Phoenix too, and you should take Plague Touch or Plague Sending as well if you have it, but all that is for the skales that run Chilblains much more than for the mergoyles.

yep that was one of my first farming spots too..

also try charr farming around piken square. its reasonable drops for the level and the area and you get charr hides which can be exchanged for fur squares at a collector in ascalon city. as an elementalist you should find it quite easy as long as you take care how many you aggro at a time
